Seller Fee Calculator

Vinted fee calculator (US) 2026

Vinted takes no fee from US sellers. The buyer pays shipping and a Vinted fee on top. Use the calculator to see your profit and how it compares with other apps.

What do you want to know?

The starting numbers are an example, not market data. Replace them with your own. Sales tax matters because eBay, Etsy, Depop and Whatnot charge part of their fees on it. US sellers and US marketplaces only.

Pro: profit tracking across every platform

Upload the sales CSVs you already export from eBay, Etsy, Poshmark, Mercari, Depop, TikTok Shop and Whatnot. Pro matches each sale to its fees and your item cost and shows true profit per item, per platform and per month in one table. It also emails you when a platform you sell on changes its fees.

This is an early project. We will only email you about the Pro version.

How Vinted fees work in 2026

Example

A $40 item with $8 shipping charged, a $10 item cost, $8 actual postage and 7% sales tax: Vinted fees come to $0.00, your payout is $40.00 and your profit is $30.00.

Who pays the Vinted fee

The buyer pays it at checkout, usually 5% + $0.70, along with shipping. You get a prepaid label and the full item price. On the example $40 sale you keep $40.00, against $32.00 on Poshmark.

Questions

Does Vinted charge seller fees in the US?

No. Vinted says there are no fees for uploading or selling items, and the seller receives the full sale amount.

Who pays shipping on Vinted?

The buyer. You get a prepaid label, so your shipping inputs don't change your Vinted profit.

Is there anything sellers can pay for?

Bumping a listing for more visibility is optional and priced by duration and item price. It is not included here.
