How we keep the rates right

Each platform's rates come from that platform's own help center or fee policy. Every result shows the date we last checked and links to the page we read. When a platform's own page and outside reports disagree, as with TikTok Shop's referral fee, we show the platform's number, mark it as disputed and let you switch to the reported rate.

What the numbers include

Fees are the amounts the platform takes from the sale. Payout is what reaches you: the price and shipping the buyer paid, minus fees. Sales tax passes through to the state, so it is not in your payout. Profit is the payout minus your item cost and your postage. On Poshmark and Vinted the buyer pays for the prepaid label, so your shipping numbers don't count there.

Which marketplace has the lowest fees in 2026?

With the example numbers on this page, Vinted takes nothing from US sellers and Depop takes only payment processing ($2.14). Poshmark takes the most on a $40 sale ($8.00). The order changes with price, so run your own numbers above.

Do these fees include payment processing?

Yes. Where a platform charges payment processing separately (Etsy, Depop, Whatnot), it is a line in the breakdown. eBay, Mercari and TikTok Shop say they charge no separate processing fee, and the Poshmark fee policy lists only its seller fee.

Does this work for sellers outside the US?

No. The rates are for US sellers selling on US marketplaces in US dollars. UK, EU, Canadian and Australian fees are different.

Is my data saved anywhere?

Your numbers stay in your browser. We save them in local storage so they are there next time, and they are never sent to us.
